Vehicle Information

Get the vehicle information you need to make the right decisions when you bid on and buy vehicles with IAA. Our innovative auction platform provides 300+ data points on every vehicle and includes everything you need to make an informed purchase, from high-resolution imagery to VIN decoding.

Enhanced Imagery

Every vehicle is a unique asset and requires a complete visual assessment of parts, components and damage. IAA 360 View gives buyers an interactive look at the vehicle’s interior and exterior for a digital experience that replicates an in-person walk around.

IAA High Resolution Images provide enhanced detail that goes beyond basic imagery in addition to IAA Key Images, helping buyers better analyze every vehicle and its value prior to bidding.

Comprehensive Vehicle Details

IAA wants to make sure you know what equipment the vehicle has as standard whenever possible. A VIN decoder present on every vehicle’s specific page gives you access to every vehicle detail necessary to help you make an informed decision. And with IAA Engine Starts, you’ll have access to a 10-second, under-the-hood view of the vehicle’s running engine.

ChromeData provides 300+ data points and technical specifications from the initial build through its current condition. Buyers can access ChromeData details on every vehicle details page by clicking "More Vehicle Information." Registered IAA buyers also have access to detailed reports regarding every vehicle’s full history, providing a complete breakdown of components and damage to help you bid confidently.

Finding the specific parts you need doesn’t have to be an ordeal. Our powerful search engine can easily filter inventory by year, make, model, mileage and many other categories.

On-Site Vehicle Inspections

If an IAA buyer needs more than the digital experience prior to bidding, IAA offers a detailed vehicle inspection exclusively through our nationwide inspection partner CarInspector.us. A representative will visit the vehicle on-site at an IAA branch, assess damage, and provide specific details that may not be visible in photos so you can be completely informed prior to auction.
